Floats for sewerage treatment works
These large floats were produced to support the aeration equipment for a sewerage treatment works in Australia. The structures support the large electric motor, impellor and walkway sections. Each unit is filled with expanded foam which is fully encapsulated by the external laminate.
Through the centre of each unit there is a funnel section which houses the large impellor that creates the aeration action.
