Fibreglass Pipe Suppliers
Among Australian fibreglass pipe suppliers we are a manufacturer, not a reseller. Custom GRP and FRP pipework is made at our Adelaide factory for lines that steel cannot survive. Diameter, wall build, resin system and end connections are set to your duty, not to a catalogue.

Pipe that outlasts the media.
Most pipework fails from the inside out. Whatever is flowing through it attacks the wall, the coating gives up, and the maintenance budget turns into a corrosion budget. Glass reinforced pipe removes that mechanism entirely, because there is no metal to oxidise and no protective system to maintain.
Unlike fibreglass pipe suppliers working from a stock list, we have been laminating in Wingfield since 1999, building composite componentry for mining, marine, water, defence and construction clients. Pipework is made the same way as everything else we produce: from your drawing and your duty conditions, using vacuum infusion, resin transfer moulding or filament processes as the part requires.
// Benefits of fibreglass pipes
Why engineers use fibreglass
pipe suppliers.
The case for composite pipework is rarely about purchase price. It is about what the line costs to own once it is in the ground, in the plant or over the walkway.
B-01
No corrosion
There is no oxidation reaction to manage, so there is no coating cycle, no cathodic protection and no wall loss to monitor over the life of the line.
B-02
Light to handle
A fraction of the weight of the steel equivalent, which changes the lifting gear, the crew size and the risk attached to installing a long run.
B-03
Smooth bore
A resin rich internal surface keeps friction losses low and resists the scaling and tuberculation that gradually restrict a metal line.
B-04
Non conductive
Electrically and thermally insulating, which removes galvanic issues and makes the pipe safe to run near live plant and instrumentation.
B-05
Made to duty
Resin system, liner, wall thickness and reinforcement are chosen for your medium and pressure rather than accepted from a stock range.
B-06
Long service life
In corrosive duty the replacement interval is set by mechanical damage rather than by the wall thinning, so budgets can be forecast rather than guessed.
// Chemical and corrosion resistance specs
The resin decides the duty.
Ask fibreglass pipe suppliers about resistance and the honest answer is that it is not a property of fibreglass in general. It comes from the resin system and the internal liner, chosen against the medium, its concentration and its operating temperature.
Indicative guide only. Final selection is confirmed against your medium, concentration, temperature and pressure at quotation.
| Resin System | Typically Suited To | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Isophthalic polyester | Water, mild effluent, general drainage and vent lines | Cost effective where chemical loading is light |
| Vinyl ester | Acids, alkalis, salt water, process effluent and slurry | The default for corrosive and marine duty |
| Bisphenol and novolac | Aggressive chemistry and elevated temperature service | Specified when vinyl ester is at its limit |
| Epoxy | High pressure duty and bonded or laminated joints | Chosen for adhesion and dimensional stability |
How resistance is built in. A corrosion barrier liner takes the chemical attack while the structural laminate behind it carries the load. Give us the medium, its concentration, the operating and peak temperature and the pressure, and we will confirm the system and the liner against published chemical resistance data before anything is quoted.
// Available diameters and lengths
Sized to the run, not the range.
Because every line is made to order, diameter and length are set by your drawing rather than by what a stockist happens to hold. Four things define the pipe on a quote.
SPEC 01
Diameter
Nominal bore to suit the flow rate and the connections at each end of the run.
SPEC 02
Length
Section lengths set by transport access, lifting capacity and the joints you want on site.
SPEC 03
Wall build
Liner plus structural laminate, thickness determined by pressure, burial depth and support spacing.
SPEC 04
End detail
Flanged, bonded, spigot or a custom transition into existing pipework or plant.
Fittings on the same order. Bends, reducers, tees, flanges, saddles and custom transitions are made alongside the straight lengths, so the run arrives as a matched set rather than as parts to be reconciled on site. Send the isometric or a marked up sketch and we will work from it.

// Industries served
Where the lines go.
We manufacture for the same sectors our other composite work serves, which means the pipe recommendation comes from parts we have built, installed and seen come back for inspection.

Water treatment
Dosing lines, transfer mains, vent and drainage runs, and pipework around tanks and clarifiers that stays wet for its entire service life.

Chemical processing
Acid and alkali transfer, scrubber ducting and process effluent lines where the media would attack a metal wall from day one.

Mining and minerals
Slurry, tailings and reagent lines, plus vent runs in caustic and abrasive service a long way from the nearest workshop.

Marine and coastal
Seawater intake and discharge, wash down lines and pipework on structures in permanent salt exposure. See our marine work.

Infrastructure
Stormwater, culvert liners and service runs where access for future maintenance is limited or expensive to arrange.

Energy and utilities
Cooling water, condensate and vent lines on plant that sits outdoors in weather and UV for decades between shutdowns.
Most fibreglass pipe suppliers sell a range. We make the line. Working in a sector not listed here, have a look at the industries we service, or send us the duty conditions and we will tell you whether composite pipework suits.

Send us the duty conditions.
Tell us what is flowing through the line, at what temperature and pressure, and roughly what you need made. We will come back with a specification and a price.
