We supply, cut, fabricate and install FRP grating for plants and structures where steel rusts, conducts or gets too heavy to handle. Fibreglass grating doesn’t corrode, carries no current and stays non-slip when wet, which is why it has replaced steel across water, mining, marine and food plants.

We’re straight about how it works: our FRP grating and pultruded profiles are supplied, not manufactured by us. What we do in our Wingfield workshop is the part that matters on site: measure, specify, cut to size, and fabricate the grating into panels, walkways, platforms and treads that fit first time. We hold moulded and pultruded FRP grating, then cut, fabricate and install it to suit your site.

Cut to size and fabricated to your drawings

Send us a drawing or a site measure and we’ll cut the grating to size, add fittings, clips, trims and supports, and deliver it install-ready. If you’d rather not handle it, our crew can install it for you.

We also supply and fabricate FRP stair treads and nosings, walkways and access platforms, handrail systems, trench covers and pit lids, and pultruded FRP profiles for frames and supports.

Surface finishes and resin options

Concave, gritted or covered tops are matched to the area and the footfall. Vinyl ester offers chemical resistance, and fire-rated phenolic grades are available where fire performance is specified. Tell us the chemicals and temperatures and we’ll confirm the right grade for the job.

FRP grating FAQs

FRP (fibre-reinforced plastic) grating is a panel of glass fibre and resin used in place of steel grating for floors, walkways, platforms and covers. It’s also called fibreglass grating or GRP grating; the terms mean the same product.

Moulded grating is made as a single mesh panel and is non-slip and free-draining. Pultruded grating is made from pultruded bars and suits higher loads over longer spans.
